PMNRCD’s Annual Meeting was a great success – thank you to all who attended or lent support in many various ways.
It was the District’s pleasure to share an overview of the work we have been involved with and we would like to thank Marli Rupe, previous District Manager of PMNRCD, Jill Arace, Executive Director of Vermont Association of Conservation Districts, and Ethan Swift, Watershed Planner for VT Department of Environmental Conservation, for their participation as well. With everyone’s help the District was able to present programs and initiatives that are of vast importance to our watershed as it applies to Vermont’s overall health and vision.
With sadness we mark the leaving of Philip Ackerman-Leist from the Board of Trustees. Philip’s support has also been far reaching. We have appreciated Philip’s steady, ethical and overarching view of conservation issues and practices. His solid organizational support in general has brought new levels of professionalism to the District in particular with our development of our strategic plan. We will miss you, Philip! Good luck with all your endeavors….. and thank you for continuing to make this world a better place.
