Last day of Nutrient Management classes!

First day of class January 2016
Through a grant awarded by the Vermont Association of Conservation Districts (VACD) PMNRCD and UVM Extention supported small farmers in their efforts to protect water quality while improving their bottom line. Farmers met weekly in the Pawlet valley for the last 5 weeks to receive extensive one-on-one staff technical assistance to do their part to improve water quality in Lake Champlain. This UVM Extention course ended today giving these farmers the tools needed in writing their own Nutrient Management Plan(NMP).

This blog is made possible with a grant through Lake Champlain Basin Program. LCBP logo
